Project details of ŚMIERTNY DĄB project

The building area is 70 m2, the usable area is 93 m2. Just right for a small family.

It took only one day to assemble the whole house, despite the difficult weather conditions. In total, 29 elements were assembled, making up the prefabricated elements of the external walls, ceiling and roof.

In the attic we find 3 bedrooms, including one with a spacious wardrobe.

The interior is illuminated by 4 triple-pane fakro roof windows. The main structure of the external walls is 45x195mm in cross-section. The walls are braced with a dried pine board instead of steel tapes, because the phenomenon of water vapor condensation occurs on the metal, which is not recommended in the insulation layer.

The ridge beam with a cross-section of 160x360 mm transfers the loads of the entire roof. The beam made of GL24 C glued timber is supported in two places by load-bearing partition walls with a cross-section of 45x145. There is a wedge between each rafter and the top plate, which increases the support surface of the rafter.

On the ground floor there is a spacious and well-lit living room with kitchen, bathroom and study room. In the large utility room, you can see the outlet of the underfloor heating system, distributed in the foundation slab.

The solid structure of the ceiling made of 45x195 timber is supported by partition walls and a joist, thanks to this solution we have eliminated the sagging of the beams. Excessive deflections of the structure could result in creaking of some ceiling elements. The treatment staircase will guarantee a comfortable entrance to the attic.

In the case of this project, our company was the general contractor of the investment.
