Details of the SUN 50m² project

The hytte, called the Sun, presents a completely different façade arrangement compared to the other models, with the most glazing on the side wall, which maximises solar energy gain and means that when resting on a deckchair you can feel like you're on a beach in a warm country. With this solution there is no attic but it is compensated by a large and bright rectangular living room with triangular windows to optimise light levels.

The roof slopes overlapping at the top create a unique solution which refers to old Scandinavian solutions. Thanks to the façade made of square timber with free spaces between we can observe an elegant play of black and brown shades. The use of a special wind insulation system resistant to UV radiation under the facade guarantees long-term use without the risk of damage.

Remember - the solutions presented are suggestions of architects and engineers, but you as the client decide about the final appearance of your house.
